Can't make this shit up

I had to fly interstate today, and I sat next to an couple in their 50's. The flight was delayed for almost an hour, and the wife was checking her Facebook, when she started yelling at her husband that their daughter had just posted that she was pregnant and she didn't want any negativity from her family as she wasn't going to tolerate it. It looked like the daughter posted it thinking that her parents would see it once the plane landed. The couple argued as to who the father of the baby could be as there appeared to be a much older man, and a man the daughters age.

They argued as to who the daughter felt would be more negative towards the news her or him. I wanted to say probably both of you, but I hid in the magazine while trying to see if I could move seats.

The mother tried to call the daughter but she wouldn't answer, and then they argued about what reply they should post. They decided to post congratulations, and they were so happy to be grandparents, as they didn't want to appear negative on Facebook

That was a set back of 50 years. How ignorant can they be?

I love Italy and I’ve travelled there on numerous occasions. Over the years I’ve always found myself saying, If there is a wrong way to do something the Italians will find it on a grand scale.

Like the airport restaurant where you pay for your food at the front door before queuing up to get the food inside and no menus or suggestions as to what’s being served.

That was a glimpse into Hell. Lol

So true, you reminded me about dinner at my nonna’s when I was a kid. She would ask you what you wanted, we would choose all our favourite Italian meals. We get there and she cooked what she wanted anyway.

It was very funny, I actually really loved her feisty attitude and independence. She was ahead of her time.

And absolutely true about Italians, they can get somethings so right, and some things so wrong. I think it’s from a cultural view of being lovers, not planners maybe x
