In Westworld Season 2's premiere, I noticed that the first conversation between Bernard (Arnold?) and Dolores was the only scene in the episode that was shot anamorphic wide-screen. The rest of the episode was shot with traditional lenses and in the same 16:9 frame as season 1.
Any fun theories? Bringing in a totally new lens and camera system and shooting a scene in a different frame isn't a trifling matter.
