My dad served in the Army, he was discharged just before his number was drafted to go to Vietnam. I had an uncle who was drafted and went, was exposed to agent orange and may have suffered from it's effects as he had cancer a few years ago.

I hate to point something out. But the Selous (correct spelling) Scouts, were disbanded in 1980.
Only people from the Rhodesian, SthAfrican, Zambian and Mozambique military served in them. No US forces served in this unit.
I do not appreciate people claiming to have served where and when it was impossible for them to have done so

I served during the Vietnam Era my draft number was 45 so I enlisted in the US Navy and ended up serving on Ballistic Missile Submarines because I figured it was safer underwater than dodging bullets in a jungle.
