"Take baby steps", a simple term. Or so one would think. Presumed and assumed by many to mean simply taking something one small step at a time. True. To some extent. It's a bit more complex. Taken from the fact that babies take one small step at time while trying to walk, this would describe the basic outline of the term "baby steps". But there is more that is included into the term. When someone tells you to take baby steps, do not forget that sometimes babies do fall while trying to take a step. So yes you may fall, but unlike the baby get back up and keep going. Be determined to reach whatever you are taking the baby steps towards. Sometimes babies are unsure of a step and end up taking a risky larger step that may or may not work, but like them we must not be afraid of that risky step. Take it. You may surprise yourself like the baby. Babies often use chairs and other objects to lean on for support, you have friends that will support you during your steps. They are there to encourage you to keep going.
